i'm getting the hang of this driving thing. i'm still really nervous around my instructor, but when i drive with david there's no problems

I drove for the first time this afternoon. It's weird but not too scary. I'm certainly much less nervous after an hour than I was before I started. I don't like concentrating that hard for too long though

the first time is so freaking weird. i went so slow. barely broke 30 k's.

The accelerator in the car I drove was really sensitive, and the area is pretty hilly, so I broke 70k once or twice, accidentally. I'm not looking forward to dealing with the gears in the manual, but I am looking forward to having better control over speed...

david's car takes a while to gain speed, and the brakes are really good so it's a good car to learn in. except his steering sucks. it's really hard. i get used to my instructor's steering being super easy, but her accelerator is sensitive. i can't win lol.

is fun once you get confident though

ahhh, holy crap i went on a semi-busy road today. and round abouts! round abouts fuck me up.

When I was first starting to drive, I'd just let the car go as fast as it idled &drove around the neighborhood at that speed. lol

I WENT ON A MAIN ROAD TODAY! i actually drove over 60k's woo! now i can drive to work and shiz

I hate this...you all are in the UK & I'm in America...I don't know the rules for learning to drive over there or converting Kilos to Miles per hour...

But CONGRATULATIONS on driving on a main road & being able to drive to work & stuff! WOOHOO!

oh, also we drive on the left hand side of the road ^^

well, suppose you have a fahrenheit temperature of 98.6 degrees and you want to convert it into celsius. you would first subtract 32 from the fahrenheit temperature and get 66.6. then you multiply 66.6 by five-ninths and get 37 degrees celsius.

or to go the other way:
you have a celsius temperature of 100 degrees and you want to convert it into fahrenheit. you first multiply the celsius temperature by nine-fifths and get 180. then you add 32 to 180 and get 212 degrees fahrenheit

or if that's too confusing just google "fahrenheit to celcius converter".

it's 51.8 F here right now. was raining earlier [and i was shitting myself about my driving lesson] but it stopped by 10am and is sunny again.
