I'm a receptionist. I used to work at a school before -being outside all the time. Its very different being in an office environment now. But the pay is good

i wouldn't mind being a receptionsit. do you come in to contact with as much idiots as you do in the fastfood industry?

Not in the line of work I am in. I work for a distribution company. My Company's Website
I have customer's come in to pick up "Will Calls". Maybe at the most, 5 in a day. Not that much at all really. Or if the president has a meeting with someone, they come in & I have to get the person for them. That's about it.

oh, to be away from the general stream of idiots i must serve politely everyday.

That's why I'm always on AIM/MSN/YAHOO when I'm not working or doing school work.

i get enough interaction from my co-workers. some of the customers are ok, but most i want to beat around the head with a blunt object.

Yeah....there's a guy at work that really bugs me. I try not to talk to him. heh
