yeah i know, the one time shit starts going on in my life i have no where to blog about it. haha. lame. how are travel plans coming?

i'm job hunting at the moment, and learning to drive! there's a mini-update

Travel plans are going well!! I actually got offered 2 jobs (within my current company) in this past week:
1. is the same as my current job but in America.
2. is a job in the lab working in research down in the south of England (more south than I am right now anyway).
Neither of which I actually applied for, and both of which I have turned down (was close to accepting the lab job though) because I really do just want to do my own thing for a while! So all being well I should be in Melbourne by February definitely.
What kind of job are you looking for?

i'm looking for anything that pays that i'm "qualified" for, haha. a lot of the full time work is pretty specific, like mechanics or lawyers, which i am neither. though if david wanted a change of job there's a million and five mechanic jobs out there. he should get into LPG fitting, people are aching for them too coz of petrol prices.

it's difficult to get a job when you're not qualified for things - i am qualified for nothing and so i'm in retail (which luckily i do enjoy, though i dont want to be in retail forever!) so i know what you mean! good luck though, you'll find something eventually

yeah it seems it's either retail, call centres or reception that i could do, but even reception's a bit hard to break into. i don't mind really. i can handle those just fine

i do retail because i know i would get so so so bored being at a desk or in a call centre, omg.
